If you’re a STEM professional and you’re reliable at letter writing, I’d heartily recommend #LettersToAPreScientist - you get matched with a kid and write via their teacher to answer questions and curiosity of a kid just about to go to high school in the USA. The program allows kids in underserved communities to have a role model and allows you to remember what it was like to be a kid thinking about your dreams. I loved watching my student develop their ideas and ambition.

Mailed my #LetterstoaPrescientist letter early January; we’ve been writing about Geo activities, oceans, & academic journeys (including timelines) 😄 I have a few #SkypeAScientist sessions with K-12 set up in February & will be zooming with #CommunityColleges this semester 😁
