You need to balance #Completeness, #Conciseness #Politeness and #Arse-Licking by trying to convince them that your work is going to revolutionize Science. Every time. Big #Lol.

All of the above, preferably in just one single page, even if I always manage to exceed these limits and need two lines on the following page. #sigh

"We want to congratulate our colleagues on this impressive work that is a true #TourDeForce. Also, we think it's entirely flawed & should be retracted."

Then lists reasons A, B, and C to #retract, where:
A - is clearly accommodated in the study design;
B - relies on critics misunderstanding a meaning of one word as being the exact opposite of what it is; &
C - has no discernible impact on conclusions & is listed as a limitation.
