Why don't Australian plant guides mention #scent?
On Black Mountain (Canberra), at least one of the #Leucopogon species ("white beards" - either microphyllus or virgatus) smells strongly (to me, at least) of cherries when the sun is on it.
I've often been overwhelmed by the smell of playdough on the mountain and traced it today to patches of #Pimelea curviflora ("curved rice-flower").

In neither case can I find others mentioning these scents - is it just me?
