I must say the TER Grand Est trains are much more comfy and cleaner than the German ones, but on the other hand, the timetables could be better (like when two services run approximately every 2 hours, why don't they connect neatly 😐)
And regarding the Nancy #Gadgetbahn, its replacement is probably for the best. The attaching & detaching process from the guiding rail is so slow, for no benefit to be experienced. The only actual downside I see soon, is #LevelBoarding, as the "trams" are currently perfectly aligned to the stops, unlike buses or when detached from the guiding rail. Unfortunately Nancy decided against rebuilding the system as a real tram, and opted for trolleybuses instead.

I can’t wait to visit Liverpool and check out how good #LevelBoarding is later this Spring.
Make things accessible - in the broadest sense - and people with use it. Liverpool are leading the UK on this; Tyne and Wear will hopefully be close behind with their new fleet too! https://twitter.com/LordOrk/status/1617501070820769792

You can't make #transit #accessible in a vacuum. For actual #accessibility, you also need to change the environment it exists in.
#LevelBoarding and #wheelchair spaces are necessary, but insufficient.
