Today's batch of 'leveling up' find includes £48m to provide Peterborough station with a new entrance and new passenger footbridge. But the station belongs to Network Rail which is 100% owned by the government. So the government is giving itself a load of cash and pretending it's a good deal. If Network Rail, the local authority and development corps were properly funded no-one this would be routine expenditure. #LevelingUp #Tories
