@TheSupercargo perhaps Jansson could be my Christmas reading. I did like the illustrations of her children’s books.

I spent 6 years on a farm behind Forest Row and loved Sussex, esp the South Downs, which i was already familiar with, in a strange way, from the #RosemarySutcliff Dolphin ring trilogy set in #RomanBritain on the Downs. And #LewesCastle, my first sight of a real castle. Happy times!
