day 6 #LGBTQWriMo elevator pitch

haven't written these for my WIPs yet, so let's see what I can come up with...

here's the space pirate story:

"Sanglantes" is the story of a rag-tag crew of corsairs from Proxima. A salvage jobs nets the crew an unexpected find, but it's merely the beginning of their adventures. When one of their own hires them for a rescue mission, they draw the ire of the Umbra, and soon they find themselves far from home playing hide-and-seek with their most dangerous rivals.

and since it's my main WIP atm, here's also the pitch for the military sf story, "Nemesis":

A one night stand isn't supposed to change the fate of a nation. When Commander Rick Benayoun Lancaster of Proxima meets Commander Jon Rasmussen of the Terran Commonwealth, both know they'll be at war soon. But neither expects they'll meet again before the war is over -- not as enemies, but as friends united by grief and a shared desire for revenge.
