Boys & Girls Clubs (a US charity organization for at-risk, school-aged children and adolescents): "We provide safe, positive, inclusive spaces for #LGBTQyouth." (paraphrased)
Also Boys & Girls Clubs: promotes Chik-fil-A at events; has no reputation for supporting anyone LGBTQ; and apparently disregards basic pandemic safety measures, ignoring that LGBTQ members, typically in poor homes or homeless, are at greater long-term risk from infections as they're less likely to be given medical care.
“People get pretty worn out on doing this, and doing it without the support of the organization that we hope to achieve through the union.”

SENIOR TRIP! (TV movie) - 12/30/1981, CBS
Teenaged hijinks in NYC. Subplot: the sensitive-painter boy, who worries he might be gay, almost makes out with a guy and then sleeps with the class's "bad girl." After sex, they both feel better about themselves.
The backstory is that the artistic boy's father is a judgmental, strict, macho cop who wouldn't be cool with having a queer son. Is the boy actually straight? Gay? Bi? We don't know at the end of the film and neither does he. It's the classic 1970s-80s TV trope: you always had to leave the teenaged character's sexuality ambiguous if there was even a whiff of queerness in the air.

THAT '70s SHOW: "Eric's Buddy" - 12/6/1998, Fox
Joseph Gordon-Levitt guest stars as Eric's cool new best friend, Buddy, who, it turns out, has a big crush on Eric.
By the 1990s, you could acknowledge the existence of queer teenagers on U.S. commercial television... a topic that had been taboo on commercial TV until around the mid-to-late 1980s.
