One possible explanation is that the #departentofeducation was aware of the problem and subsumed dealing with it into the "building schools for the future" of capital investment launched by #edballs towards the end of the #labour government. This was cancelled in 2010 by the incoming #conservative and #libdem coalition government. Not clear whether this was the #treasury - #georgeosborne - or the #departmentofeducation - #michaelgove advised by #dominiccummings .

Liberal Democrats have made sure to be inclusive when talking about period poverty. This has, of course, upset a number of people, but it's good to see a political party being inclusive.

For the benefit of non-Uk readers Huhne lost his cabinet post and resigned his parliamentary seat. He served a brief prison sentence. Onasanya lost her seat after recall and also served a brief prison sentence. He was a #libdem and Fiona was #labour. Maybe the rules are different for #conservatives!

The #LibDems have always been in favour of Electoral Reform.

Although not perfect on LGBT+ rights, they are far better than Labour (#RedKip).

Hell, Ed Davey even said publicly that Humza Yousaf * should * mount a legal challenge to the Section 35 blocking of Scotland's GRR Bill.

Lynne Featherstone has been very vocal in condemning the EHRC Equality Act letter.

I'd take either #Green or #LibDem over Labour.
