So I'm thinking about moving more and more towards content on Mastodon of a specific kind.

While I love a wide variety of topics, music is a big part of my life and a passion of mine.

So I'm thinking of focussing on sharing and creating content related to heavy/punk/alt genres. Also a heavy dose of some rap and anything pushing boundaries.

So I may use this and create a new account.

Working title is:

LIBER MUSICA

Latin for "The Book of Music" (at least according to Google and my very basic Latin).

I'm at the point of my life where work is great, my kid is an independent teen and I have the world before in terms of seeing and exploring the world.

My intent is to share the sounds of musicians from around the world in the punk, metal, hardcore and alt scene. It's really about my own journey of musical discovery.

I'll be on the hunt for unknown artists and sounds in addition to what is already popular with the kids.

Given I'm an ex-librarian the idea of a library filled with the music I love is what inspired me.

Anyhoo, thanks to all those who have already responded positively - I appreciate you liking and tooting.

I think a community that is actively sharing music, boosting new artists and making the world better through metal is a wonderful idea.

So yeah, I'll update peeps here and see how it goes.
