I've been a pretty quiet Twitter user, mostly pushing my #librarything reviews to it, but I was actually getting more active with the #libfaves22 thread. If you're not in #libraryland, the hashtag was meant to highlight library professionals' favorite books of 2022 for easy recommendations to promote. I'll list my top ten favorites in the next post.

My Ss are making me feel loved today. One said "I literally love you" when I handed her a curated list of books I thought she'd like. Another said "That's cool that you know my name." They make the stress more bearable.

re: evaluating other instances, there are some new ones for libraries popping up, and while that would seem like a good thing, please be sure to read the server rules before signing up. Or recommending them to others.
