Television uses a lot of library music. These tunes can be broken into many little bits - 30 seconds for the title sequences, 5 seconds as break stings, longer segments as background music.

"Stargazing" is at the calm end of Monkman's work, the gentle relaxing tune for late night chill.

What a fantastic time I had on the podium last week in Studio 2 at #AbbeyRoadStudios, conducting some of my favorite musicians in the world for my next #AudioNetwork album!⁠

I know I keep saying it, but every time I walk these hallowed walls I have to pinch myself and remember how lucky I am to even be able to enter the building. And then being able to create music together with some of the best studio musicians on this planet... it's just a gift!

All the scores are ready to go for Tuesday's session in London!⁠

Getting my scores printed before flying out allows me to review them during the trip, and also insures that they are prepared exactly the way I like. And for this there is no one I would recommend more than my friend, copyist extraordinaire Thanh Tran. We met at Berklee 20 years ago, moved to LA at the same time, and worked on dozens of projects together since then.
