I have an MLIS student who really wants to study abroad, but I've never heard of an MLIS student doing that during their program. Do opportunities like that exist? I know I need to get better about using #hashtags but you have to understand I was traumatized by discussions about #hashtags and #folksonomies during #LibrarySchool

While this is absolutely in character for her, I’m fairly certain this is inspired by my student work in library school. Library school students staffed the reading room desk in the special collections library, and the assistant library director told us semi-seriously to tackle anyone that tried to get past us into the stacks.

Not that any of us would have done so, but it became a standing joke in my student worker cohort. Seems only fitting to memorialize it 😂
