Weiß jemand wo man Desktop-PCs mit #coreboot oder #libreboot erwerben kann? Bevorzugt lüfterlos und kompakt, also eher eine Office-Maschine. Es gibt sonst keine speziellen Anforderungen außer dass #Linux darauf laufen muss.

Does anyone know where to purchase desktop PCs with #coreboot or #libreboot? Preferably fanless and compact, so more of an office machine. There are no other special requirements except that Linux must run on it.

Some people are just going too far with the hostile #fork culture, when there are more productive ways to collaborate on #libre software. What we've got here is failure to communicate with a fellow #FOSS developer. 😶

#GNU Boot people sending cease & desist to the maintainer of #Libreboot is so antithetical to their cause and only digging grave deeper for #FSF. #FreeSoftware and #trademark policies do suuuuuuch a good match, do they not?

But I also recognize that, maybe, @libreleah shouldn't have attempted to get #GNUBoot up to speed, at all? It's not like we're dealing with the brightest of the forks anyway. Just saying there are two sides to this story that I don't get completely. 🤔

You should probably be able to overwrite ChromeOS with Linux.

The keyboard may be a little awkward, but probably doable.

I know there's even a chromebook that can have #Libreboot put on it, but I don't remember which one. I think it's a little older than yours.

KGPE-D16 Dreams of mine with #libreboot is not going that good. Flashing is done but it does not post and most likely it is RAM problems. I have to go through terrible sellers for random sticks now. At least I got a proper cooler retrofitted with some aluminum machining work.

This #T500 that has #libreboot on it is working quite well. It was modded to have the custom firmware and a quad core CPU.

Me and my clumsy wording.
Honestly, I had a lot of hangups with both the Devuan and Debian installers, because I couldn't figure out how to get #libreboot working with true full-disk encryption. It works fine in #OpenBSD and #FreeBSD, but not #Linux, as far as I was able to tell.

I was surprised that Devuan didn't use the same installer as Debian though.

Nevertheless, thanks for contributing to #Devuan! :D
I'll try Devuan next.
