I've used #openscad a lot, #blender, #gimp, #inkscape, #kcad, #libreoffice, #darktable and #shotcut ; I don't have a girlfriend or family so I have time, can you tell:-)
but I haven't done precise work with real working drawings. its the next step towards 3d printing and real cad work.

Soon there would be a set of LibreCAD-branded ISO7200 sheets, similar to #FreeCAD's built-in templates.

π #LibreCAD app supports various line types: "Continuous", "Dot", "Dash", "Dash Dot", "Divide", "Center", "Border" & "No Pen".
But representation of line types has few issues: https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/issues/1657
1) Circles has different dash/dot/space sizes (smaller) then all other entities;
2) Ellipses has a bit broken look with all line types;
3) Splines with "No Pen" shown as "Continuous";
4) "Dash" and "Dash Dot" has a bit off-centered middle dots.

Beside hatch patterns design issue, there is another #LibreCAD issue with handling pattern tiles: https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/issues/1652
Size of tile is not fixed to expected 100mmΓ100mm square, but is auto-adjustable rectangle that fits to pattern tile content, cropping all the empty space around from Top, Bottom, Left & Right.
While its almost OK to crop empty space from Top&Right, cropping from Left&Bottom (i.e. offset from tile Origin) is a serious bug.

This happen because tiles of some patterns are not correctly cropped by its original designers.
To fix this need to review all existing hatch patterns and crop such broken tiles.
