meine beste #LibreElec Einstellung auf dem #Raspberry #Pi4 um #H265 zu genießen sieht so aus.

@pw_changer 4B mit 4GB, #Libreelec / #Kodi und USB-Doppeltuner läuft hier seit Einführung von DVB-T2 stabil. Daher die Idee, das als Haus-Service noch ein bisschen aufzubohren. Die ÖR haben drei Muxe, mal sehen, ab wie viel Zuschauern das Konstrukt in die Knie geht. Andererseits: Der RasPi braucht den Stream ja nur ins Netz schaufeln, dekodieren muß es dann ja erst das jeweilige Endgerät.

Im Sinne von "Re-use, Re-duce, Re-cycle" wollte ich, den neusten Ereignissen entsprechend, meiner Frau Mama mit einem #BananaPI der Generation 1 (#Allwinner A20) einen #Kodi-ähnlichen Medienabspieler basteln. Etwas das #mp3 kann und Ton sowie GUI auf den TV (HDMI) wirft.

Frage, gibt/kennt ihr da etwas für diesen Zweck?

Ein alte DEV-Version von #LibreElec habe ich schon aufgetan aber die bootet nicht.

Ich bin für Vorschläge offen.

Pulled my „old“ #raspberrypi model 3B+ from my kids room. After I moved to running #Kodi on my NUC or TV for video, the Pi ran #Libreelec for a couple of years. It was used for listening to some children’s music by my older son. Since he got a smartphone he „hijacked“ the attached speakers and just plugged them in this. So this bugged me for sometime, as the Pi has the excellent #hifiberry DAC attached to it. So today I had some time and tried to check out #HiFiBerryOS as #Volumio seems …

Was ein Abend.

Ich habe ich mich selbst geärgert. Mit #Kodi.
Eigentlich wollte ich nur das Tele5 Mediathek Plugin installieren. Ging nicht. Falsche Python Version. Wie bekommt man eine neuere Version? Mit einer neueren Version von #LibreElec ... also installiert und den Fehlerhagel des Todes darüber bekommen welche Plugins nun nicht mehr funktionieren.

Lange Rede kurz: #Kodi & #LibreElec sind nun auf der aktuellsten Version und alle Plugins laufen aber: Tschüss freier Samstagabend.

Savez-vous s’il est possible de mettre en veille un Raspberry Pi ?

Mon vieux Media Center est en train de rendre l’âme et je comptais le remplacer par un RPi4 que j’ai qui traîne dans un coin, mais malheureusement, je n’arrive pas à le mettre en veille. Seulement l’éteindre.

Et j’ai pas envie de le laisser allumer 24/7.

Je suis donc preneur de toute astuce.

Obwohl die Option "Einschalten über USB-Eingabegerät zulassen" im Bios aktiv gesetzt ist, lässt sich ein dank #LibreElec zum #Kodi umfunktionierter PC nicht über eine USB-Infrarot-Fernbedienung aus der Ferne starten.
Nicht das ich wirklich damit gerechnet hätte, das wäre zu perfekt gewesen. Schade ist es trotzdem.
Entweder krabbel ich jeden Morgen unter den Tisch, platziere den kleinen PC etwas zugänglicher oder überlege mir etwas anderes.

Si y'a des gens qui utilisent un #RaspberryPi avec #LibreElec qui pourraient m'aiguiller...

J'avais un soucis avec mon raspberry 4, sur une de mes TV il me disais "format vidéo non supporté", j'ai le boot raspberry avec le test couleur et ça affiche plus rien en suivant, j'ai testé les fameux hdmi_safe etc dans le config.txt mais ça n'a rien changé, donc je vais pour faire une install fraîche et ça me fait la même chose... 😩​
J'ai un câble HDMI vers micro HDMI officiel, la TV ne prend pas de VGA donc je peux pas tester avec un adaptateur, je comprend vraiment pas :/

J'avais jamais eu de soucis comme ça avec mon raspberry 3B, avec le 4 j'ai des problèmes bizarres comme ça assez souvent, impossible de se connecter à un wifi sécurisé, et plein d'autres trucs qui arrivent de nulle part :/ Avec mes vieilles TV j'ai pas trop le choix que de passer par un raspberry

Aujourd'hui, crise de nerf et frustration.
J'ai installé une #libreelec (#kodi) sur un #raspberrpi . Jusque la pas de soucis. Configuration pas de problème. Plus qu'a faire ce qu'il y a de plus simple. Installer les tv française. Je mets iptv et je lui indique un fichier m3u. Ce dernier a était bloqué par ghitub. De quoi je me mêle? Je veux pas de chaine autre que les chaines hertzien a un endroit ou les ondes ne passent pas. Du coup, je vois dans les dépôts #francetv . 🖖

If you run #Ubuntu 22.04 on an #Intel based #HTPC and you are a #Kodi user, and you have a 4K receiver and any #HDR content you play in Kodi looks washed out, you could install #LibreELEC but then you would have to give up your Ubuntu desktop (or figure out how to dual boot, but that is specifically not supported by LibreElec) or you can try to build a version of Kodi that will actually display HDR content correctly. If you want to attempt to do that, see this thread:

If you are not comfortable with building it yourself, see post #51 in that thread for alink to an already built version, but note you'll probably still need to know a little bit about # Linux to use it because it can't run while X11 is running (not certain about Wayland).

No guarantees on this but if your system meets the criteria it might be worth a try. I am not the author so please don't ask me any questions about it, I'm just passing along the information and link.

Switched to #libreelec and @Kodi for my rpi4 music station.
It's pretty pleasant so far.
Also, #yatse android app does a good job for the remote control.
