I think I might write a blog about how to format a #novel using #LibreOffice because it's so unbelievably easy.

I'm not sure who'd be interested it though. I'm sure everyone uses some expensive professional software or something.

The guide would be for people like me who likes control and likes free stuff and is maybe a little bit oldskool and out of touch with what all the hip #writers are doing nowadays.

Llevo muchos años siendo usuario de #libreoffice. Recientemente un buen amigo me recomendo #onlyoffice por ser "más" compatible con el archicinocido paquete ofimático de microsot...

He de admitir que gráficamente es muy parecido, y en especial la hoja de cálculo... He decidido pasarme a #ONLYOFFICE.

Entiendo que el transito del paquete ofimático de MS Office a ONLYOFFICE es más sencillo, visualmente son casi idénticos.

@veroandi I also had some of my users tell me they were concerned that knowing how to use #libreoffice , even if I provided them with solutions to all their issues, would make them proficient in software that was not adopted in the market in their profession. Being proficient with #microsoftexcel as an accountant was a sell on their resume. Nobody knew about #calc .

Governments adopting #opensource would be amazing, but my circle of influence is selling to my circle for now!

When working with non-techical users many years back, I had thought getting them to use #libreoffice (openoffice then) on #linux would be trivial. I learned about format compatibility, mail merge, etc..
