I've been planning on some Internet radio stations for the last few years. Including how to do a proper internship program.

Along with some local venues for shows and club nights. Those would be livestreamed via #icecast and @peertube using #libretime, @mixxx, and other #freesoftware, and recorded if the band wants to press DVDs or CDs.

COVID and terrible day jobs really set me back but, things are looking better than ever so I think I'll be accomplishing my goals soon enough.

I've also heard nice things about #Azuracast but I haven't set that up yet.

So I'm trying to save some money and #selfhost a whole bunch of stuff that I have on various servers. I started down the #Yunohost route but some peeps have been said that it's not super sustainable long term. The bare minimal is to host a podcast, an #Airtime / #Libretime radio server, around 3 #Wordpress sites and various static sites; a #Mastodon instance would be sweet too.

I have a well spec'ed PC, a Fritzbox 4790 router and an #NBN #fibre connection to the house. The machine will more than cope, I seem to be having intermittent issues with ports 80 and 443 forwarding to the machine but that's probably a #Fritzbox issue. I'm using #noip to bind my dynamic IP to a base domain but I may switch to a static IP.

Any tips or advice? Is there a solution that is low-ish maintenance or am I dreaming? I do have reasonable #devops skills.

Would anyone recommend using #Canonical #Livepatch? Is it free? I have a radio server running #LibreTime on #Ubuntu18.

Actuellement, il s'agit d'une version test, même si en matière de développement de la communauté #Libretime, beaucoup de chose fonctionne mieux.

Ouep, ces derniers temps, je me soustrais à l'installation et la mis en route de #Libretime. Il s'agit d'un logiciel d'automatisation radio gratuit et opensource (en version Alpha 13).

@bonob0h Ouep, je connais bien #Libretime, c'est mon acharnement depuis des années à essayer de le faire fonctionner.

Clairement, après avoir passé une nuit par galérer avec la joie et la bonne humeur, je tiens le bon fil. Ma version de test tient la route ! En test, ça tient depuis 2h30 sans coupure. Et ouep ! 😍

Le travail paie ! L'acharnement sur #Libretime permet de créer un moyen d'être dans le libre.

After some digging, I just found out that @textovervideo's suggestion #LibreTime is "a community managed fork of the AirTime project".
