Ich entdecke immernmehr tolle Hörbucher auf LibroVox (da werden gemeinfreie Werke von Freiwilligen vertont)

Gerade höre ich 'Herr und Knecht' von Leo Tolstoi. Auch wenn das Buch schon über 100 Jahre alt ist, ist dir Erzählweise wunderbar lebendig und auch der Sprecher braucht sich nicht verstecken.

I have been listening to the audiobook recording of the "Personal memoirs of U.S Grant" via #librivox . Highly recommend both the book and other librivox projects (all free audio 📖s). Grant is a great writer - clear writing, good story telling, and even funny.

@graay @bookstodon @SFJenifer @zamallama @audiobooks which version? I listened to the free version on Librivox. Librivox varies in quality but when it’s good it’s very good and the Moby Dick reader was excellent. I understand there’s a version out there with lots of A list actors too #librivox

Also, a good #podcast is nice. Or a set of short stories from #LibriVox. Gotta listen to something while you're #knitting, right?
