I can't ID that either. I've declared that apple mint because of rounded leaves. 3 years ago I transplanted some to #Harborlab at the base of Vernon Blvd in #lic by #NewtownCreek. It's doing ok.

Assisted #HarborLab today by bringing a Nissan Leaf (2015 24wh battery) from #Poughkeepsie to #LIC. Learned much about #EV charging which will be applicable when I rent a car for a few days and they hand me an EV.

The rental agencies are bulking up on EVs. They are much easier to maintain.

If you only charge from home, this is all irrelevant. However, you may find yourself renting one day.

Its amazing how shitty and difficult the infrastructure is. But this is the fruit of capitalism.

@dschwarz Most of #Manhattan apt buildings don't have parking lots unless one lives in a #NYCHA building or northern Manhattan. But yes if you have a parking lot, there should be chargers. I work with #HarborLab and they got 2 #BEVs. They are great but the garage in #Queens where they live doesn't have an AC outlet and a garage in #LIC where I ran into didn't have one close enough.
