This moon-shape structure is possibly an Ottoia fossil from the Liexi Fauna in China. Ottoia are ancient worms that thrived during the Cambrian. By the time we hit the Early Ordovician, they were relics, on the verge of extinction.

The most diverse and abundant group in the Liexi fauna are trilobites. In some cases, like this Niobella, we can find preserved digestive tracts.
