#Paradox verschiebt den #earlyaccess Start von #LifeByYou aus September ins nächste Jahr, um die Grafik und Benutzer:innenoberfläche zu verbessern.

Das ist zum einen Schade, weil ich gespannt war, was da auf uns zu kommt.
Zum anderen verstehe ich es gut. Im bisherigen Bildmaterial sah die Grafik tatsächlich immer etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aus. #TheSims und #paralives wirken da beide runder.

In better news, if you're interested in the Sims competitor Life By You, a 22 minute developer livestream went up on youtube today. I'm still not sure what to think of the base game, but I'm almost certainly going to buy it because the customization features look almost infinite and I can't wait to see what the modding community does with them.

I've always wanted to like The Sims 4, but never really did and while I've owned it for several years haven't played much, and never for long when I did. I hope the new game tones down the wackiness a little, going for a somewhat more realistic tone.
I was curious enough to preorder at least.

#LifebyYou se anunció hace poco como un nuevo Early Access para este 2023, con la característica de ser "un Sims" donde poder crear tu propio mundo, y como se vio en el tráiler, literalmente quiere que la comunidad cree su mundo.

Programar NPCs mediante una interfaz Blue Print, crear modelos, misiones, construcciones... Todo hecho por la comunidad para la comunidad. Desde luego han buscado la manera más brillante para interconectar a los jugadores de una forma más inteligente que en Los Sims 3 y Los Sims 4, pero... ¿les funcionará?

@gamingonlinux Really excited to see more information on #LifeByYou. I've been waiting for someone else to pick up on #thesims genre.

Now, let's see if #LifeByYou will do to #Sims4 what #CitiesSkylines did to #SimCity, aka mug it of it's lunch money, give it a toilet swirly and then stuff it in it's locker where it now has been hiding since 2013.

I stopped playing EA games in 2012, but I have always missed playing The Sims.
