I guess I'm realizing how much of a creature of habit I am and how much change--even if it might in the long run be for the better--just throws me for a loop.

I keep repeating to myself these incredibly helpful wise words from a dear friend:

There is a definite shift going on in my life, a shake up, if you will. Major changes are happening. Some of them have seemed horrible and hopeless, as though some of the things that I held on to dearly are being ripped away. However, as always, I’m starting to see the positivity and feel great about most of it. It seems like some other power rearranges things, sometimes. And this certainly feels like it’s for the best. I’m excited.

I'm finally home from the hospital, and very thankful for that. Going in was absolutely the right thing to do - it's just taken me a long time to get there.

I expect that life a year from now will look significantly different from life one week ago. Changes are necessary, and I'm ready to work through them. I can't know everything at the moment, but I feel that I have the tools to make it happen.
