Ik was vandaag voor werk in Antwerpen, bij een van der Valk. Ik begin een meeting graag met koffie en schoot een medewerker aan met de vraag of ze sojamelk of havermelk hadden. Helemaal in de war, geen idee waar ik het over had dus ik dacht ik probeer het op z’n Belgisch “hebben jullie plantjesmelk” 2 collega’s erbij gehaald, koelcel doorzocht maar plantjesmelk was geloof ik nog iets te futuristisch voor ze…
Overigens hebben ze dat met de lunch goed gemaakt, die was top #vegan #LifeOnTheRoad

Soooo I got the new work van/suv thing today. What a clusterfuck. Take away the fact that it’s cheap as chips and has hardly any of the tech or comforts we had in the Citroens, it’s useless as a van! #Dacia #DusterCommercial No sliding doors and virtually impossible to get anything in through the side besides a folder, a tailgate gate instead of actual rear doors and no seat adjustment bar forward and back. 🤦🏻‍♀️🥺🚙 #lifeontheroad

In a single day, I have:

Had a massive hawk fly into my windshield, causing no damage and flying away like a boss hawk

Put the finishing touches on a statistical consulting report in Rolla, Missouri

Had my serpentine belt break 20 minutes into a 5 hour drive to Oklahoma

Waited 4 hours for a mechanic and almost a few hours for the fix

Been pulled over for speeding and when given a warning only proclaimed "I could kiss you right now, man!" to a cop

Made it to my destination

After all, our Avion C11 is far from our first #homeonwheels and our #lifeontheroad is one of constant change.
