If you have get blood on clothing and you want to avoid stains, soaking overnight in lukewarm water with a bit of hydrogen peroxide generally prevent stains. There's still blood in the morning, add more hydrogen peroxide and soak again.
If you don't have hydrogen peroxide handy, you can put salt directly on the blood spot and scrub with a small amount of water. This doesn't work quite as well but definitely helps.
There are lots of accidents and #nosebleeds in our family, since we have a couple of very active kids. This has saved us a lot of stains. My partner told me they didn't know this untill I told them, so I figure I'd share with anyone else who doesn't know. Hope this finds someone who needs it!

Contrary to what you see happy housewives doing in 1950s sitcoms, you should wash the whole dish (top and bottom, inside and outside), not just the part that had food in/on it. Unless, that is, you like your dishes with a slimy, luminescent sheen of grease on them. #LifeHack #LifeTip
Don't scratch the inside of your nose with the hand you just rubbed #deepheat into your arm with..
Life tip: If you're complaining to the world on fedi, people try to help, and you respond by mistreating them: you will most likely get blocked, no matter your background. Not everyone has the time to deal with your entitlement.
"That's what makes some people better than others. Some people look inside themselves, see a possible negative, and go Oh! And think about it honestly. They are able to grow and do better. Most people look inside, see a possible negative, lie to themselves, and blame someone else. They will never grow and do better."
I receive good texts sometimes.

In any situation you might find yourself where nazis are in any way involved, make sure you always are on the side opposing them.
If you’re impatient at your doctor’s office and you walk out into the hall and demand of the first person you see if the doctor knows you’re waiting, and that person is, in fact, the doctor, and it’s within 10 minutes of your appointment time, and they are, in fact, on their way in to see you, it might make for an awkward visit for you

It's heating up here fast, which always brings to mind something I am none too fond of.

It's also a good time to think about your preparedness, be it storms, earth quakes, tornadoes, train derailments, pandemic lockdowns, or whatever else the Ladies of Fate decide to throw our way. (Hopefully NOT Putin!) Nobody WANTS crap to happen, but it does anyhow.
There is tons of info about the risks for your area & what to have on hand. Check it out.

Fridge life tip: get one of those plastic bins to hold all your dinner kit ingredients. I use to just put it in a pile and would lose the smaller bits. SO MUCH BETTER.
(Also I love the place I get my dinner kits from (Dinnerly) and have a promo code if you want it)
Life tip: if someone uses the phrase "woke mind virus" you know they are, to be blunt, completely full of shit.
Soft skills like communication skills have always been very important for executives.
In this new era of video conferencing and hybrid work, leaders and managers need to sharpen presentation skills. It's not the typical presenting in front of a crowd, or delivering a TED-talk-like presentation. We need people who know how to communicate to an audience behind a camera, the use of lighting, microphones, teleprompters, etc.

hot pro tip: don’t use fabric softener or scent beads or detergent packs in your washer. Just use a tablespoon or so of detergent and a water softening additive if you have hard water. oxiclean if you need it. #lifeTip 😵💫
#LifeTip: Wake up every morning with the intention of annoying at least one person that day.
It wasn't wise to watch The Good Nurse a few days before going to surgery... :blobcatsleepless:
