What they don’t tell you about #lightmybricks is that you should ideally have teeny tiny hands. This would have been so much easier when I was 10 🤣

I bought some components from #lightmybricks awhile ago for the #lego modular street and since then they’ve been hounding me to leave a review.
If they send me one more email, I will leave a review. And I’ll focus on their packing and delivery system. And they will not be happy with what I say.

And it’s complete! I’m pretty happy with the way this turned out. I think the only addition I’d make is adding a light over the community bulletin board at the bottom of the stairs. #LEGO #LightMyBricks

So, the evri direct from #lightmybricks parcel has arrived. A large, battered and squashed box - way, way bigger than what was needed.
It’s not made me want to order direct from them again - but what choice do I have now that #elegantbricks (who always provided exceptional service, used letterbox sized envelopes and put such pride into their deliveries) have closed.

Seriously, #lightmybricks, I'm not impressed that you are wanting me to pay £5 to have delicate electrical components delivered* by Evri (where they will no doubt be dumped outside in the rain with no message, and ruined).
I'd rather you used Royal Mail, and give me a delayed - but safe - delivery.

*used in the loosest possible definition of the word.

Woohoo. The #lego Jazz Club and the Year of the Rabbit sets are on the way. Better check the #lightmybricks box to see if I’ve got enough elements to bring the club to life.

The bag of #lego bits finally arrived yesterday, and that means that Erling Mews now has an elaborate street planter with dolphin statue, and several seagulls circling it (it’s really just a way to hide a load of #lightmybricks wires and port adapters)

These #lego items came from Bricklink yesterday. Once my Schrödinger’s order of bits and bobs arrives from Lego I can build the planters on Erling Mews that will hide all the #lightmybricks cables and adapters.

Looking on the #lightmybricks website and hoping that the light and sound boards used for the ferris wheel 2.0 become available for DIY construction. I think the JazzClub modular would be amazing with flashing stage lighting matched to the sound of Jazz being played.

#lego tram/trolley + #lego track + #lightmybricks + conductive tape + conductive paint = a desk full of mess and a challenge to illuminate the tram anywhere on the track.

Oh dear, #lightmybricks. Of all the delivery services to use, please, not EVRi.
That’ll be delicate electrical elements ruined by being left,unannounced, outside on cold, wet doorstops.
