Saved this guy from a watertank he couldn’t get out of. Lucky for him I decided to check in there, I don’t check it very often. I seal the lid as tight as I can, and he was the second one that got in. I added some extra security measures, hopefully they will stay out now, they’re drawn to the water. They also tend to dig holes through thatch roofs when you are away, and then they get stuck inside your house. Not good. #likkewaan #water #monitor #nature #lizard #watermonitor #animal #za

My #brother caught a #likkewaan (water monitor lizard) in his yard, dogs were going nuts. Released safely back into the bush. Dogs calmed down with a treat.
