If you're friends with me and you've been to #Maui in the past six or seven years, you know about Donut Dynamite. If I saw you post a Maui photo to Instagram, you'd immediately get a DM emploring you to make the trek to #Wailuku for #lilikoi #malasadas.

Over the years, we've become good friends with Madame Donut, and her #pastries are what I look forward to most when traveling to the island... which is why I'm heartbroken to learn that she's closing her brick-and-mortar shop on December 24th.

#lilikoi (#passionfruit) season is in full swing!

i've packed our #FreeBox with them & there are still so many more.

in times like these, i sit down in the morning w/a pile of lilikoi & have them till i'm full. it hits my morning dehydration/juice desires, just takes a little longer.

also: the shells are great for #compost.

i think i did a pretty good job on the orange lilikoi, although obviously my grasp of shadow remains weak lol.

a friend gifted me this cute koi watercolors pocket field sketch box.

i made a test pallette & then painted some lilikoi (passionfruit):

* jamaican/orange kind (Passiflora laurifolia)
* normal yellow kind (Passiflora edulis)
