Ich hatte vor kurzem einen gebrauchten #LILYGO #T-Beam mit defektem #Display gekauft. Da das Gerät auf dem Dachboden als #Gateway läuft, ist ein Display nicht zwingend erforderlich - aber einfacher zu bedienen.
Gestern kam das neue Display per Post; ausgewechselt — läuft 😀
Ich bin immer wieder begeistert, wenn ein Hersteller Ersatzteile anbietet.

Some new parts arrived, probably hard to see in the picture, but I got a 5v to 3v level shifter for the #sparkfun #qwiic connector, a few qwiic connector cables (various types, but mostly qwiic to grove. or qwiic to dupont). This was all so the person sensor and the #M5Stack stuff could place nice together. I also picked up a M5Stack Univ V M12 #camera w/fish eye lens, a couple #Lilygo T-OI Plus boards (#ESP32 C3), a Lillygo T-Display S3 board.

I pushed the changes to Github and will do a release once I figure out the rotation issue. Here's a favorite GIF (using my AnimatedGIF library) running on it:
I added it as a named display in my bb_spi_lcd library, so to initialize it, you only need to use the begin method with the display name:
lcd.begin(DISPLAY_T_TRACK);

Just got the #lilygo #tdisplay board (#ESP32 with a built in display) and the #recommended video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8254--ibmM (by a cool maker and youtuber called Volos Projects) really helped me through installing the required libraries and tools. I tried playing the #spaceinvaders clone this tutorial shows how to install, but I like this guy's #Tetris better: https://github.com/VolosR/TTGOTetris

Just started testing #LoRa #offgrid messaging with these $30 USD #LilyGo T-Beam devices running #Meshtastic.
Flashing the 2.0 firmware was simple over USB from a #RaspberryPi, and both the CLI and #Android apps provide the full range of configuration options.
My only issue so far is poor #GPS performance, but I'm hoping better antennas will sort that out.
