deeply confused myself trying to run an arm64 #docker container on an #arm64 new-macbook (because I need to run MS SQL stuff)

is there a correct way to do this? I tried using #lima but I'm just getting deeper and deeper into confusing error messages

En #Lima se está tirando el muro de la vergüenza, un muro con 12 años de edad que separaba las barriadas de la zona rica. (O menos pobre).

En #India han pensado que para la cumbre G20 lo mejor era derribar los suburbios de chabolas para que no se viese sucia la ciudad. El plan es hacer zonas verdes, pero sin dar dotacion habitacional a los desplazados.

Ambos países han tenido un crecimiento explosivo de ‘slums’ (favelas, barriadas, barrios marginales, informales...) y tengo malas noticias: es el tipo de urbanismo que más rápido crece. No existe solución sencilla a la acumulación de personas desplazadas.

It came to my mind today that maybe #lima https://github.com/lima-vm/lima can replace some of my #vagrant use-cases. Sure, it does not have the same focus, but since I anyway had been using vagrant with libvirt (no vmware or vbox), it's running qemu anyway. Getting a basic box running seems easy enough, but the lima cli seems a bit counter intuitive to me. Difference seems to be that vagrant has more rules on how the box is built while lima seems to use cloud-init for user setup. Less lock-in, I guess.
