Sticking with my beach theme from a couple of days ago, and my liminality theme from yesterday, today's picture shows a Boxing Day shot from a wet walk on a beach.
I love the way the sea has crammed the cracks in the slate rocks with coloured treasures - rows of tiny jewels to brighten a gloomy afternoon.

but the shadows keep burning
their eyes into the fog
of time folding itself into new shapes:
