Another aspect I took issue with is #corporations, in particular the notion of #LimitedLiability. Why, I asked, would anyone recognize rights claimed by a corporation? Why wouldn't/couldn't they go after its owners?
One answer I got was that the owners wouldn't even be known. But why, I asked, would anyone recognize claims by an organization whose owners weren't even known? Another answer was mutual recognition. But that only works with other people who want, and would benefit from, the same rights.
Ultimately it all boils down to violence. The real reason people would recognize corporations' rights is because the corporation would be paying some security company that would shoot them if they don't.
Eventually I realized that what my annoying leftist friends had been telling me was right all along: #AnarchoCapitalism is a lot like the status quo, but potentially much worse. Competition *might* make it better in some respects, but there's no particular reason to believe that it would. People would choose the security company that's the most willing to engage in violence on their behalf. And the one with the most resources to bring to bear, which means the largest.

If you do manage to attain liftoff - or get sold to a Big Tech firm - *then* you can fix all that stuff.
And if the far more likely outcome - failure - comes to pass, then all the liabilities you've created with your indifferent security and resiliency will be someone else's problem. #LimitedLiability, baby!
