A staring contest with a #SwampSparrow at #OxleyNatureCenter to start this Tuesday. The sparrow won the contest. This along the edge of the #Marsh where we are planning to expand #Wetlands and improve habitats for #Waterfowl. Swamp Sparrows depend on marshes and wetlands for habitat and food. The males will bounce up onto a branch to sing. They are commonly found with #MarshWrens, #SongSparrows and #LincolnsSparrows.
