🎧 The first months after I moved to #SanFrancisco in 1990, #ParadiseLounge at 11th/Folsom was my local. Pool, $2 Bud in the bottle and the music (live or DJ) was always proper!
#4NonBlondes were local, the room was always SRO, and regulars knew the chorus to "What's Up" and sang along. I was there.

De band 4 non blondes wordt opgericht in '89 te San Francisco, beginnen als all-female band #LindaPerry , Shaunna Hall, Christa Hillhouse en Wanda Day.
Nadat ze hun hit album #BiggerBetterFasterMore uitbrengen zullen twee leden vervangen worden.
Ze scoren een wereldhit met #WhatsUp, touren met Pearl Jam en Bob Dylan. En dan wordt het stil. Oprichtster Linda Perry zou uit de band gestapt zijn wegens het te poppy en mainstream worden van haar geesteskind.
