My #selfhost journey has revealed #linkding, a strong, simple and powerful bookmark manager. Special bonus: the great add-on Linkding-Injector (https://github.com/Fivefold/linkding-injector), which prominently integrates saved links into the search history of search engines. Extremely useful!

Auf meiner #selfhost Reise mit linkding ein weiteres spannendes Tool entdeckt. Ein exzellenter, simpler aber erstaunlich mächtiger Bookmark Manager.

Insbesondere mit der gut dokumentierten API in Verbindung mit Shortcuts lässt sich #linkding ausgezeichnet nutzen.

I am displaying RSS feeds which are populated by "sharing" to a bookmark app (#linkding) and that works a treat.

I have a 'microblog' category, and it would be great to snap a photo or jot a few words and send and have it auto-post to the blog.

Maybe I'm overthinking it.

In my search for a #Pinboard alternative I found #Linkding, and it looks *almost* exactly what I was looking for.

It's only semi-social (closed/friends-only), could need an option for public access, and various tweaks here and there – but it’s very hackable (#Django, #Python, #svelte, #SQLite)

LinkThing is my #iOS client for #linkding.

New in this version:
- Tag support! Browse by tag and create/edit tags on new and existing bookmarks.
- Choose how bookmarks open: in-app or external browser.
- Choose default list view: unread or all.
- Quickly copy bookmark URLs from the list view.

I've release the first major update to #LinkThing: now you can add bookmarks from the app! It even supports clipboard detection so it can pull a URL from your clipboard and auto-fill the metadata.
