2 cores - you're gearing up for meeting #OldComputerChallenge specs right?
What if the downloading and rendering (to text + image/audio/video files) only happened when your computer was convincingly idle (or explicitly run by you). Then you would have to worry about chrome javascripting 5 sites live. Though I'm over-optimistic about successfully rendering websites into raw media, maybe.

it's so easy to customise actions for different groups of file types based on templates around the temporary filename though.

And it doesn't require deep wizardry to disable new anti-feature of the week.
