Regarding the Hunter bus crash tragedy.

It turns out that the driver was one of two drivers that drove primary age kids on a school camp , going from the Central Coast to Bathurst on Thursday and coming back on Friday.

Teachers rasied concerns about his driving with the company after that trip.

I had a child on that school trip.

The next day was the night of the crash in the Hunter and 10 dead.

Before they went, both myself and my wife were nervous of a bus crash happening. We had not mentioned this to each other until after the fact or have any logical explanation of why we would be thinking this way.

Linq to objects is awesome. Other flavours not so much, the abstraction is too leaky. Too easy to get caught out by something that doesn’t work with a given data source. Once you’ve finally realised the cause of the problem, you have to try to look up what is supported and find a work around. I’d much rather write SQL (or whatever it’s equivalent is for the resource you are using).
