I thought that the whole point of versioned .so files was so that you could install alternatives and build against different versions.

But apparently the latest #Gnome rolled out with huge swathes of apps being made incompatible because of the libsoup change. How wonderful 😐

Here are some screenshots of the progress I made today on my prototype #RPG game 🎮 Now you can select wich one of the three main characters you wan to control 😯 run around and jump with animation blending (needs adjustments thou). Also I fixed some bugs from yesterday. Next comes the camera control, I guess 🥵

Been re-re-learning OpenGL for the last few weeks to try and implement pre-renderd sprites with correct lighting at run time. Early results look promising 😃
