Fun fact: One of the reasons why I quit maintainership of "my" drivers back then was the utterly long delay of any response on patches or any other request, resulting in a feeling of simply being ignored - absolutely no fun for someone who prefers to "get work done" to have room for new tasks. Actually, it looks like things didn't change over the last five years 🙄 And "my" drivers somewhat deserve some love by now...

Quite interesting, when suddenly you are dragged into a bug report discussion on - among others - the linux kernel mailing list for a driver you stopped maintaining (as a hobby/freetime project) nearly five years ago, regarding an empirically determined workaround which won't apply on modern platforms anymore 🤔
