Hatte ich schon erzählt, dass ich den Wechsel von #LinuxMint19 auf 20 auf dem Notebook bereue? Ja, das Teil ist älter, lief aber zackig genug. Jetzt ist es lahm, zäh und pomadig. Überlege #SparkyLinux zu installieren. Würde ja #BhodiLinux probieren, aber wer auf #Sourceforge setzt, ist nicht seriös.

I think it peaked at Mint 17. I've had my hands on it less than an hour and a half, there are fit & finish bugs and oversights everywhere, machine is crashy and I am suspicious of noveau bugs but driver manager offers no way to install the proprietary drivers I already told the installer to install, and vim is offered in the software manager as a fucking flatpak. I think I'm done. #LinuxMint #LinuxMint19

my first impression for the #LinuxMint19 beta are very good! will play around with it some more but I may install this as default on the sharef family machine even before it officially releases. 10/10 will install again!

The number of bug reports in the comments on the #LinuxMint19 Cinnamon beta announcement blog post is not encouraging after suffering through #LinuxMint 18. I know they recently reorganized their dev teams with a major new focus in quality but if 19 is as buggy as 18.... meh I think I might just switch to an Ubuntu flavor. My machines both need a reinstall *now*, one of them doesn't even boot due to me sleep-deprivedly overwriting /boot.
