This is (was) a 1926 Ford Model T Roadster pickup truck. One of the more amazing hot rods I've ever seen! About the only original part of this truck is the body. Here's the amazing part: The engine is a supercharged 427 SOHC mounted at 40 degrees--so it would fit under the hood! More about this vehicle at this link: motortrend.com/features/1926-f

A "what is it" mining apparatus. I think it might have been for dry washing (sluicing) gold? The large cylinder on the left rotates via the gear that can be seen. The inside is hollow with a brick liner where, if it was for gold, the fine particles might fall into the cracks while the larger waste rock dumps out the end. I've no clue what the tank & pipes on the right were for, perhaps smelting? (NW Nevada near Winnemucca.)

Street art in the old Donner Summit / Truckee train tunnel / snowsheds. These abandon tunnels and snowsheds are on the original route through the Sierra of the old Transcontinental Railway (1869). The UP recently repurposed the abandon tunnels as a service road. Street art is allowed (kind of a gray area) inside, but prohibited outside of the tunnels / snowsheds.

Returning from a top secret mission, the squad locked their gear down, engaged full flaps, and executed a perfect tactical landing onto the short waterway. Lots of corn kernels loaded onboard and no casualties on this mission!

A rather unique plane, the Bell P-63 Kingcobra, a WWII era fighter, was a mid-engine aircraft. This shot of a P-63 was during practice / qualifying at the Reno Air Races in 2021.
