@JamieWitter i did the same with a #macbookair 2014 (8Go of RAM). I installed pop_os (to be close to apple's UI) and it works like a charm (except the webcam that i couldn’t make it work although i find the drivers…). It runs twice as fast as mac os, with everything up to date !! F**ck planned obsolescence !! It's just one of the many reasons i’m so grateful to linux ✊! You not only save computers but also extend their life cycle AND save natural resources #linux #linuxpower !

In the year 2013 I bought a HP Deskjet 3055 A.

Today I used the scanner function for the first time on Linux and it just works.
The only thing to do was to install simple-scan.
