#Fedora #KDEPlasma's #SystemTray battery widget initially predicted an expected, or maybe just possible, 3 hrs 20 minutes ahead of me, which would have been fabbo. Alack, alas, instead i only got ~90 minutes.

That's especially irritating coz i'd explicitly chosen to buy the 9-cell 7800 mAh one, not the standard [like my dead one] 6-cell 5200 mAh one. Sigh. Ofc, this was now its peak performance; tis only gonna get progressively worse hereafter. Grumble.

It arrived today. Seems ok so far. Fits correctly into the laptop's battery compartment, phew [Objective 1 ✅ ]. Have done the advised cycle of discharge to 2%, recharge to 100%, to condition its charge-life. It didn't explode or ignite [Objective 2 ✅ ]. Later on i'll become aware of how long its full charge lasts [Objective 3 ❔].
