Had to unfollow 2 people on #Litsy today because they're reading That Author.

Doing a #BuddyRead of Vanity Fair at #Litsy and there's a character in it that is Trump to the life. Everything old is new again.

#WhatchaReading ? I'm just finishing Beguilement & damn, I love it. Also started Yellowface, it's a real page-turner. (#Litsy has me reading literary fiction, can you believe it?! It seems to be a lot more fun these days.)

In nonfiction, reading You and Your Adult Child, which I love for removing stigma from the fact that young adults are moving more slowly than in the past. My kid needs to read this more than me; she holds herself to unrealistic standards.

@beecycling I have a 3 tier system now. My bookspin list (a #Litsy thing) is 20 books I most want to read. Then I have a second list of books to add next to the bookspin list, and then everything I'm remotely interested in on my library TBR. Though honestly, that one is starting to make me freeze up and I'm thinking I'll spend some time shortening it.

#WhatchaReading ? I started This is How You Lose the Time War and as I hoped, it's easier to follow in print, though still rather baffling. (My brain does not work well with science fiction.) But it's just the sort of captivated enemies romance I adore; hoping for a happy ending.

Also reading Roller Skates for a #Litsy book club. I loved it as a child but I think only read it once. It's dated but still delightful. And things just got exciting in Life of Pi

@ElleSabine I'm #reading The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen by K.J. Charles. Lots of angst and drama!

Also reading a chapter a day of Miss Austen, a novel about Jane's sister, for a buddy read on #Litsy. Also lots of angst and drama but in a much quieter, ladylike way. 😁

I'm wondering why sometimes I "like" a post on #Litsy and then a few seconds later it disappears and the heart is white again. Repeating just makes it happen again. Anyone know? Please boost.

Finally decided to ditch my goodreads account. Again.

Should I reactivate the Litsy account I created last time I made the same decision?

Or should I go for OpenLibrary?
