Not on arteries, sure. But collectors should also be allowed. Many collector streets are just slightly wider residential streets. Bays water is a collector, but I know of no better road to have a little library. There’s one on there now.

I used to treat myself each summer by reading one Dorothy Dunnett novel, then my self-control gave way and I gorged on all the remaining Lymond and Niccolo books in one big gulp. One of my top finds ever in a #littlelibrary, a book I love, that I've read and written about, but never owned. This copy arrives with a NYT obit of Beard tucked into its ages. Score! A shame it's not the edition with the wonderful Earl Thollander cover painting of a picnic on the Oregon coast, BUT the cover does have pictures of a truly insane culinary combination of seemingly uncooked pears overstuffed with mascarpone, and a giant bowl of pickled herring and dill! #foodhistory #bookstodon
