Here's a snapshot of the landscape here in Phobjikha Valley. This is one of my favie places in all of Bhutan. Rugged landscape for sure but the locals still manage to make it home. They grow turnips and potatoes here, and leave a little in the fields each year for the black-necked cranes to enjoy.

Favie moment of the day. Arrived at the gompa and a little desk next to the door looks like official business. Only it's a novice monk, barely old enough to hold a pen, scribbling pictures of kittens.
