Steven is al heel jong bezig met muziek en leert zichzelf gitaar spelen, maar als hij in 1964 zowel The Beatles als The Stones op tv ziet wil hij zelf zo snel mogelijk een band oprichten. Rond augustus 1964 richt hij zijn eerste bandje op, The Whirlwinds. En speelt in 1965 ook nog in The Mates en The Shadows, en met die laatste ontmoet hij #BruceSpringsteen in de Hullabaloo club. Samen spelen ze in #SteelMill welke

And I don't even live close to NJ... ;-) Saw him with #LittleSteven, saw him with #TheBoss #BruceSpringsteen... but never saw all three together.
