Went for a walk down the hill and saw some birds which was nice but strangely enough it was a shiny blue fly that won me over today. Loads of butterflies too. It's a treat to have time just to take a walk.

Also discovered today that the Sigma 60-600mm does a pretty neat job at macro, at the 200m mark.

I kept hearing water running outside. I opened the window to yell at my kids for leaving the hose running, and hubs is out there washing my car. 🥺

I might complain when he's messy or bossy. I might forget our anniversary every year, but I love that man.

Did you know you can wash plastic sandwich bags and reuse them? The zippered kind are the sturdiest and can be reused easily 10 times before they begin to tear. It's not as good as avoiding the plastic, but reusing helps too.

The only caveat is onions: If you store leftover onion in a plastic bag, even if you wash it, the next thing in the bag will rot. I use the cheap foldover kind for this purpose.

I'm posting one more time from bed. I'm using my Braille display. I am so happy I put my devices on the 5G band. Everything is working so much better. I have my smart speaker playing Folk Alley, my phone and Braille display on Wifi. (It's an eReader). Wifi has been spotty for months in the bedroom, so this is fantastic. #LittleThings

I am rested again this morning and feeling halfway good. I got a decent amount of chores done yesterday for the first time in weeks, and so I'm torn today between trying to catch up some more, and trying to take it easy so I don't kick off more pain from overdoing it.

Gonna walk my mile, and try to do some more kettle ball and yoga too. Gonna cook some lentils and rice and try to eat healthy.

I forgot that I bought oranges until I was on the way home from the pool this morning. Then I was too hungry for just an orange and had lunch.
