Plane ride back with beautiful heart broken people. This fire has done so much damage in so many ways. These beautiful people, this beautiful song. So much pain and heartache, so much loss. What is going to happen to Lahina? To Maui? To its people. No on and nothing will ever be the same. The Hawaiians on this flight lift their voices in a song of pain, loss and heartbreak. Please do not forget about them. Please give them the resources to heal their own community in their own way. Please be respectful of their culture and continue to support the Island of Maui for the long haul.
