And even though I didn't get to see *this* show, I'm still super happy I got to see them again last summer.

I first saw them at a festival in 2012. I was expecting it to be okay... it was incredible! I lost my money, my ID, two buttons from my jeans jacket. Other people helped me find the money and ID after the show. Buttons were forever lost, but who cares?

Yes, it was murder in the front row this year too. 😂

In '22, in spite of knee and back issues, I managed to last on my feet in the front row for 22 bands out of 22 at Rock Hard. Scarred my face, crack my skull... but stayed on my feet to the end!

4 years ago tonight, I saw #Kreator in Brussels.

That show when a thick rimmed beer cup landed of my head and cracked my skull right when the curtain dropped, so I spent the first songs in the set headbanding while holding a tissue there... until it would get soaked in blood and I'd replace it.

A friend of a friend hosted me, so picture the dialogue after:

3 years ago today, I saw #Insomnium. They were grand. And it made me really happy to see them play bigger and nicer venues on that tour.

Wish Ville could have joined them on that tour. Up to this day, I have never seen a show with him.

Still, it was memorable. I have no idea how my head didn't fall off from headbanging that night.
